Improving the insurance claim process

Context
The client approached us with the intent of re designing the interface of their web platform and make it work well on different devices (responsive UI).
At the very beginning I identified some clear usability issues, and proposed restructuring the website IA in a more intuitive and user friendly way.
My role was a UX/UI designer was to spot usability issues on their current product, understand the business goals, propose solutions by creating IA, wireframes and responsive UI.
Getting started
The product helps people who are claiming their property insurance to stay on track of their claim, know what’s coming next and what they have to do to speed up the process.
We started off with an intro session to understand the current product and business goals, then we did a workshop to ideate on how the content could be structured.
We collaboratively generated a series of sketches that served as foundation for the next steps.
